Titanium 3 gill brake self timing brake in the works.

Thank you once again and we look forward to being a part of your shooting excellence.

Will you folks at Spearhead Machine be making a muzzle brake that fits the new Ruger/Marlin SBL 1895 in 45-70?

A polished stainless version with the 11/16"X24 tpi would be perfect.

I like the Ranger Point brake but would buy Canadian if you guys are going to be designing and manufacturing some.

^^^^ this please.

Thank you Thunderhog and Foxer2373

We can definitely look into this, would you guys be ok with a .840 brake outside diameter?

Thank you for the kind suggestions.

I think the fitted flush look is nicer, in saying that, as long as it looks and works as good as a Ranger Point Brake I would take one.

.762" Outside diameter I believe.

I believe the price point was close to $150.00.

Thanks.

I see site stock said you have two, so the two in the picture I imagine.

Order placed.

I would have definitely preferred flush as well, but.. I am going to be the Guinea pig here and buy the first one… I’ll put it on on all 3 of the new Ruger marlins and report back.

Or (and excuse me if this is off base, I honestly don’t know) would it be possible to pay a bit extra to have it turned to be exactly flush with the new ruger Marlin trapper in specific? Can measure the barrel of mine if needed.

Yep, the 2 that was in stock are the ones in the pics.

I sincerely appreciate it RyoTHC, please let me know your thoughts. Your satisfaction is my upmost priority, if end up not liking it, please don't hesitate to contact for a refund.

Thank you once again for the opportunity to be a part of your shooting excellence.

Please post a pic, seriously considering this but wanna see how it joins up first.

So I received my Spearhead muzzle brake for the Ruger/Marlin 45-70.

The design and quality is excellent. The tool that was included was an awesome surprise and a great added value.

The 2 baffle radial slots are unreal, absolutely gorgeous.

I ordered the .840" size as this was all that was available at the time. I do wish the brake had been chamfered on both ends not just the muzzle side.

A taper on the threaded barrel side to match the outer barrel dimensions would be more aesthetically appealing. In saying this, the 90 degree fit to the barrel is functional.

Thanks Kevin for an awesome brake that in my opinion was very professionally made and designed.

Hello Thunderhog,

Thank you very kindly for your kind words, we are very grateful for your great feedback.

The edge near the barrel does have a .010 edge break chamfer to preserve shoulder contact up to .840 diameter, I can definitely increase the chamfer larger for the 45-70 brake as it fits on to a more slender diameter, I'm sure a larger chamfer will make it more aesthetically pleasing.

You're very welcome Thunderhog, we sincerely appreciate and value being a part of your shooting excellence.

Cheers
