Special Edition Vanguard in Canada??

Went into my local gun shop yesterday and he had some new Weatherby Vanguards on the shelf. Shop owner said they were "Special edition available only in Canada" vanguards. I had never heard of this model, have you? The vanguards in black synthetic I had handled before did not feel comfortable. However, these sand colored synthetic, rubber feel type, seemed to handle nice to me. Just thought I would ask here before develing further into the possibility of purchasing one. IIRC price was about $750 range?

weren't the sub-moa ones in a tan monte carlo stock?

I kind of think so...but the price was way up there compared to these.

local shop has some....the stock is an injection molded handle with some sort of rubbery coating...not like the Hogue stuff....better...looks very nice...and the price is right...
