Anyone knows what this scope (ELCAN SpecterDR Dual 1X-4X) sells for in Canada? Thanks for any info

according to armament tech the current production run sells for around $1600. some of these MIGHT be going to canadian retailers, but military and law are all over these. so far every scope is spoken for so i doubt armament tech can sell you one from their shelf for this run.

the 2nd production run which will incorporate some changes i.e. lock for zoom lever, change of knobs & battery cover, arms quick release levers on opposite side etc will be around $1680. if you get on the waiting list now you can hopefully get one by feb 2007. this run will also have a version for 7.62

word is the mount does not suffer from any of the original elcan problems i.e. loose/broken mounts off zero.

The mount looks real solid, the test will be how it performs when I take it to the range. The options that are described above won't be available until Feb. 2007
