Spectre Ballistics LPC - Assembly

Does anyone have a copy of the assembly instructions for a Spectre Ballistics LPC? I recently picked up a LPC receiver kit, but it didn't come with any instructions or parts list, and I'm beginning to think I'm missing a part or two. All it came with is the receiver set, bolt carrier, charging handle, a screw, and a small set screw. The screw it clearly intended to go through the carrier and attach to the charging handle, but it's too short to successfully do that (it can make it to the opposite side of the carrier, but that's it -- screwed in all the way it sits flush with the opposite side and does not have any additional length to thread into the charging handle). And I have no idea where the set screw factors into this.

The other thing missing is an LPC vice block. Is that absolutely required for assembly, or can one work around that?

Any guidance would be most welcome.

You have all the parts that ship with a LPC receiver set. The Upper and lower, bolt handle, bolt handle screw and a small screw. The smaller of the two screws is used to prevent the buffer tube from rotating. There’s a small hole near the back of the upper that it goes into and then it will tighten against the buffer tube.

As for the vise block if you have access to a 3d printer the file is up on thingaverse just search for “Light Practical Carbine”. You can always try emailing SBI/Magdump to see if they have any around the shop. If you can’t get a vise block as it’s a slick side receiver set you can place it in a set of non marring vise jaws and into a standard vise.

The screw for the bolt handle shouldn’t go through the other side of the bolt.

Touch base with SBI. There was a little upgrade part sent out to purchasers. Make sure you get it.

Much, much thanks. It all makes sense now :) I think I managed to confuse myself while watching a video review of the rifle that Hunting Gear Guy did when the rifle first came out. The video clearly shows the screw going into the carrier from the opposite side the charging handle attached to -- but this was a very early version of the rifle (serial #0001) and I guess it was something that was changed in subsequent production.

Glad to help, the only other thing that's good to know is how the rear take down pin goes in. The take down spring goes in first, followed by the detent and then the take down pin, it's opposite of how a take down pin installs into an AR lower. The take down pin is what actually holds the the spring and detent in place, unlike an AR which is held in place by the castle nut end plate. SBI also recommends not using an end plate as it might make taking the upper and and lower apart difficult and to only just use a castle nut.
 
I asked then to repost it in there thread that had the instructions posted. But they did not respond. I will hopefully be building mine over the holidays.
 
I think you could also use a torque road like the one MRA makes for their Renegade rifle in place of the receiver blocks.

A torque rod similar to a reaction rod or a magpul bev block won’t fit. The back of the upper receiver is completely solid with no hole. The lugs of a bev block don’t engage the barrel extension fully

Good point, I forgot the back of the upper is closed. I wonder if you could drill it out to fit a torque rod? Seems a bit extreme but might be worth it.
