Planning on my first antelope hunt this October in southeast Montana. I'm wondering what's the best way to hunt them. Should I be looking at setting up blinds over waterholes or is spot and stalk the way to go? Anyone got any advice? Thanks.

Spot and stalk is the most common way for rifle hunters. Sometimes you need to drive a lot of miles and look at a lot of antelope to find the one you want.

Spot and Stalk. Plan on a lot of crawling, and be very cover concious(sp?) and patient with it. Antelope always have at least one doe as a lookout, and they're eyesight is incredibly good.
Just keep repeating this mantra; "If you can see them, they've already seen you".

think REALLY suspicious deer with 6x binocular vision - typically, they're disappearing over the next rise as you top the one you're on- you might also think about throwing a sheet that's the same colour as the surroundings or fairly close to it over yourself- i've seen that one done- there's not a lot of cover where the spped goats are
Depends on your terrain to a large extent. For spot and stalk you need to have enough cover to let you get close enough for a shot. In really flat / open terrain, sitting in a blind or by a waterhole might be your best bet. But there is usually enough cover for a stalk.

Not decoys for rifle hunting though......good way to get shot.
