I'm toying with the idea of doing some action shooting with my Enfield break action revolver for ####s a and giggles. Anyone know which Safariland or HKS speed loaders fit the revolver? I have HKS speed loaders for my GP100 and the 38 S&W cartridges fit, but they don't line up with the Enfield well enough.

Anyone have an Enfield and a collection of speed loaders they can test for me?

I believe you have to use the hks model 10 but don’t quote me on that, I’m not home to check my safe

Yes, you are correct about using HKS speed loader for Enfield 38, apparently it works very well, though the Brits and us Canadians didn’t issue a speed loader during the war, 6 rounds in the cylinder, and 12 rounds in a package were issued , most troops, enlisted or officers carried Sten Guns which were more effective , a speed loader was issued for the Webley .455 revolver in WW1, as revolvers and pistols were used heavily in the trench fighting

The Prideaux loaders were not issued by the Crown but available for private purchase and were not very common.
