i've seen these speed loaders for the ramline/butler creek 25 round mags. are they any good? it'd be nice to have something that would make loading the mags easier. it seems like after about 300 rounds, my fingers start getting sore.

The Butler Creek loader works very well once you get the hang of it. Ramline and Stoney Point have their products as well but after reading customer reviews (and complaints) I chose the Butler loader. Worth the $38.00. Reviews were found on store sites selling the product. Cabella's was one place I remember off the top of my head....most reviews on the Stoney and Ramline loaders were not very positive.

At the risk of sounding like another "Ramline sucks" person, I can just say that their customer support for .22 magazine-products has been found to be ... wanting. :(

I have one question regarding this....do any of the speed loaders work with the Tactical Inc composite or aluminum mags?

will the Butler Creek loader fit my ramline magazine? i've found that Ramline works better than Butler Creek. I had a hot lips mag, and it wouldn't even feed. my ramline is great.

Using the BC loader. Will load any 10/22 mag. You just got to learn the feel and you will dent cases. Doesn't affect function in the rifle but might cause it to loose a bit of accuracy. Really no matter as when I put in a 25 or 50rds clip, I rarely want to do BR shooting.

It is far from perfect and I get jams and other annoyances but way faster and easier then thumbs.

I found I could load my 10 rounders by hand much faster than the BC loader... it jammed or had a problem every three rounds. More trouble than it's worth, in my opinion.
