Speed Stripper?

Just got two of the 6 rounders for myself. I haven't used them too much yet, but they seem to work ok if you get your spacers worked out. I added more velcro than what they originally came with to my spacers.

As for mag pouches... They clip onto your belt and then you strip the rounds off (generally into your weak hand) and load them into the tube. Having them in a mag pouch would really defeat the speed part of it if you ask me.

4 rounders are actually better than 6 rounders (I have 6 rounders) unless you have coal scoops for hands.

Most people can only hold 4 shells in their hands and manipulate them with ease. I can sort of get 5 on the go.

Using a 6 shell holder it is hard to consistantly grip the correct ammount. Sometimes I grab 4, or 5 or 6.

When you correctly grab 4............the other two are pretty much wasted.

I have the 6 round as well, the problem I have with them is the discomfort they cause when sitting in a vehicle. When I load from them, I simply strip off 3 rounds, thumb them into the magazine, then strip off the remaining 3 and load them.

i have a buddy that has one on his 870 and it works like crap. you have to spend ALOT of time finagling to get them to work as well as they did for that guy.

I have the speedloaders on my 11-87 and they work really well once you practice with them. You also need the tabs and feed trough that go on the gun to make them work like the video. I don't shoot IPSC anymore so I haven't played with them in a while. They're quicker than anything else out there to put 4 rounds in your gun IMHO.

Anyone used these to good effect?

Will they fit in some kind of mag pouch?

These work okay but they are all about practice, practice....practice.

Manipulating a handful of shotgun shellls is never easy but with.....practice you can get pretty good at it. Before buying figure out how many shells you can hold in your hand and manipulate. 4??? then buy the 4 banger version and grab them all when you reload. Only 3?? then buy the 6 round version and practice grabbing 3 at a time. Not the easiest but with....practice you can get quite proficent.

I have pretty little girlie hands so I went the 6 round route and I am quite happy with them.

They don't go in a pouch they hang on your belt.

My wife got me several of those for Christmas one year. As mentioned, you have to do a bit of practice/drills to get them to work as well as the video.

I have a few that have never been used; shows how much I shoot nowadays. PM me and I will give you the mfr name if you want to track some down.

Safariland also has a handy (albeit low volume) belt loop that I find very handy. Two or three of these would work for "topping up."
