Speer 40 Smith and Wesson

Hi,

I picked up a can of loose 40 S&W ammo today.
Now I am not sure if these are Speer factory rounds or reloads.

All the shell casings are Speer, and the flat bullet nose is stamped like a star.

Without seeing a picture I can't be 100% sure but it sounds like you have some frangible ammo.
Is this what yours looks like? If it does they are frangible.

Yes, that's the one, exactly.

I personally have not used any yet but I know a fellow club member that has used it in the past and it seems fine.
If you shoot any steel it is good for that as it turns into a find powder when it hits the steel.
I have gotten some of the brass after it has been fired and it is good for reloading.
Maybe another member that has used this ammo can post what their results have been with this ammo.
