I bought a new Browning Xbolt last year and in the process of working up a load for it found it is really fond of Speer 165 btsp number 2034.
Only one small problem: I cant get any more. Anyone out there know of a dealer that has some. Tried WSS here and they are out of stock. Local dealers as well.
Suggestions?? Got 5 rounds left and hunting is coming up. Freakin a bit....

I have a box if you get into a real pickle pm me, I also have flat base in the same bullet weight...................

There's another thread here somewhere; Speer has discontinued the Deep Curl line of bullets.

Time to find a new favourite load... after hunting season!

The BTSPs have not been discontinued, just the Deep Curl line. Part # 2034 is still listed on their website.

To the OP, I also use that same bullet in my aught six, got about 8 boxes of it through WSS. What I recommend is calling the closest Wholesale Sports location and get the gun counter to transfer as many as you need to that store from another location that has them. No extra cost to you. That's how I get mine. Hope this helps.

Interesting; it's listed if you do a caliber search, but not under Hot Cor or Grand Slam in the hunting section.

If that's not a bonded Deep Curl type bullet, I'd suggest trying a Sierra SPBT GameKing in the same weight first, and a Hornady SPBT Interlock second. They're both good cup and core bullets. I've found the Sierra's to be extremely accurate, and both types are widely available if you don't come across the Speer's you're looking for.
