Speers Plastic Practice Ammo

I have seen them in stores here and I have some that my father bought probably 30+ years ago. They are quite powerful for only being primer powered, they are a lot more dangerous than the rubber bullets that use regular brass with the flash holes drilled larger. Having used both I would recommend getting the X-Ring Rubber Bullets, you can stop them with a towel hanging off the back of your target cardboard, the Speer plastic bullets will sail through that.

I have some of them and as stated they are quite powerful. They'll go through a pop can & on through a piece of corrugated cardboard no problem.

If you can't find any you could always go to the primer/wax loads.......

Not to get off topic but in the same vien of "less destructive" practice ammo, I remember an old article that talked about using primers with WAX bullets as a projectile, can't remember if there was a plastic gas check or if I just made that part up.

Even the wax bullets have quite a bit of go to them. When young and foolish and before paintball, we decided to try a few out. It took several weeks for the bruises on my brother's rear end to fade........
