With an election on the horizon I am just wondering if people are holding back on gun (Semi-Auto) purchasing?

I am planning on waiting until I see what is gonna happen in the next election! If the Libs prohib SEMIs I dont want another 5K lost into it.

won't prevent me from making purchases. i suppose it's a risk, but one worth making.

if they took them, it just means i'd be seeking more in the court case i'd file against them. as well as many others i have no doubt
 
I would buy another semi if I wanted a second rifle..The political climate isnt going to change my opinion ...

IMO, wussing out is just what those "other guys" want. Buy the rifle and enjoy it.

If you are concerned about a ban you should be buying what you want now.

It's much easier for the government to prevent you from having something than it is for them to take it away from you.

My first gun purchase of 2007 was a semi-auto.:dancingbanana:
 
Ah, screw it! Just buy what you want/need. Gun bans my a$$! What are they gonna do anyways? Send a ETF team to EACH house and take us down hard? If enough ppl just say "No!" forcefully enough they'll have to back down. It's an inevitability.
 
There is no way they could get away with 'confiscation without compensation' again.

I say that, although they DID already do it in the past. I just think any 'semi-auto ban' would affect FAR more people and the outcry would be faaar louder.

Either way, screw the liberals. I'll buy whatever I feel like, and I'll be damned if I'll let a liberal control my spending habits on MY PERSONAL PROPERTY.

I've bought my semi auto in 2007.... have YOU? ;)
 
If they manage to pass gun ban legislation (which they won't), I will eat my hat.

Note to self: do not buy any hats in near future, just in case.

What do you mean, "again"? They're getting away with it right now. I'm one of the hundreds of guys in the middle of 12(6) court cases right now, and one by one we're all losing...

Yeah, but these guys tried to sneak in after fact. I know lots of 12(x'rs) who got in before the fact and don't have a problem. But hey, I'm with you - I support Brue M. and CSSA. As long as they're fighting with the post 12(6r's), maybe they'll leave me alone with my restricted and non's! :rolleyes: BTW - I'm pink all the way! Better to have lived and lost than to have lost and not lived! However, I plan to live without loss! Lifes too short! :D
