spent brass in same container as revolver?

hi everyone i was wondering if i was allowed to ship spent brass with a firearm in the same container? i am asking because the firearm i am currently selling on the EE is not a cheap caliber to shoot and i wanted to provide the buyer with some brass in case he decides to reload. thanks a lot!

I see no reason why not.
It is not loaded ammunition, just empty brass.

I have shipped that way before & will again.

Only powder, live primers, or loaded ammunition would have to be sent through special means, brass is just brass. Bullets could also be sent, but would be considerably more expensive, due to weight.

Just to be clear, spent brass is fine. Primed brass is a no go.

but spent brass is just...little pieces of metal. i've done my TDG and spent brass was never mentioned as a dangerous good. i just wanted to make sure as this is the first time i'm sending brass.

and a gun is just a brick of metal that has simple mechanical movements


Shipping it IS A-OK just package it well so it does not jingle and you should not have any problems.
