Got a Spiker this after noon. Didn't make it to my blind and he stepped out about 100yards. Winchester M70 Feather weight in 257Roberts. 100gr. old winchester silvertip @ 3000fps.
Bullet retained weight was 60grs. and expanded dia. .520"
Broke one leg,3 ribs, major blood shot to shoulder and ribs. Bullet found in flank on far side. He ran about 40 yards and was stone dead when I got to him. Didn't wait to track him.Went right in after the shot.
