Spike's 22 kit

Looking fo any input on the Spike 22lr conversion kit for an AR. Anyone have one?

It looks like the same design as the CMMG one. The CMMG kit works well once it is broken in and you lube it up well.

The Spikes kit is chromed and has the additional spare recoil spring and a series of o rings on the chamber insert basically better finished.

meh.. picky on ammo, and BDM mags needed tuning in order to work without hanging up the bolt.

I'm glad I sold mine.

Any recommendations on ammo type? I just picked up TDC's kit off the EE and would rather not have to go through the ammo experimental phase.

Let me know which ammo works best, I'll go buy a few bricks... I can't wait to give this kit a try.

Federal bulk pack works awesome in mine. Blazers and AE also are good.

Matter of fact, haven't run into many of the cheapies that don't work. However, I haven't tried Thunder Bolts through it tho (and don't plan on it).
