I am looking to purchase the spikes tactical sd-1 fake can, on the website it say's that the can is. 6.75" long. I was hoping someone could tell me how much of the cans length shrouds back from the end of the barrel.

Just got a CAR-1 for my M&P 15-22. The threads go pretty close to the end of the can (within a couple mm), so pretty much the entire length of the unit less a couple mm with shroud the barrel.
