Spike's Tactical stripped lower

Just received one of these lowers. They are very nicely done. Nice and smooth (even under the trigger guard) clean finish, no rough edges. I would say it is better than the Tactical Innovations one I have. No need to 'Breakfree' it like some.

The only thing diff from others is the extra meaty area in the last pic.

I thought the only part registered in a AR was the lower. I dont see any serial number on this one. how those this work ? to you still need a Transport permit for it ?

You are correct the lower is the registered part. Like you i do not see a serial number. Interesting....

G22 the "meaty part" is to prevent "bad" parts from being installed in the lower and thereby turning a nice law abiding carbine into an evil baby killing homocidal maniac that could only possibly be used for 1 purpose, ask Windy Kookier she can let you know for sure.

That is just the material left for the safety detent hole. Full auto lower has that bit as well.

Which when you really think about is REALLY stupid.
The lower does not dictate the caliber, so why waste more engraving stateing the obvious
