Split case

I have 2 split cases about a 1/4 inch up from the head stamp.I know that I had to much head space and fixed the problem but some of the brass is spliting now.I cant find eny cracks in the chamber all I can see is the burn macks from the split.I have proble put 20 or 30 rounds through and no real problems.I no the brass is going to be week in these spots what would u do? whould keep the gun or just quit using the brass.

Once the brass has been stretched, correcting the headspace will not correct the stretched brass.

Throw it away and start with some fresh brass.

Check all your brass for that particular firearm.
If there is a shiny ring where the splits have occured on the other brass, dump those.
If you fixed the problem previous to this then you should be good to go.

Agreed, get rid of that brass and start fresh. Sounds like your brass may be too brittle or maybe its just plain worn out

Which way do the splits run? Are they circumferential or lengthwise?
