I only noticed when I picked up the brass. I shot 100 rounds (2 boxes). The rest of the brass look fine. It is my brass as there was none around me and no one else on the pistol range when I was there. The gun was brand new with a clean dry barrel.
 
huh, has anyone ever reloaded their brass before maybe its all brittle brass or maybe it was just a flaw in those cases:confused:
 
I'd defiantly shy away from firing any more from the same lot.

I concur. The failures are just so bloody uniform that if it's not an issue with the firearm (and since it was a handful of rounds out of a hundred that failed I suspect it's not the firearm) then I can't seeing it being caused by anything else than a machining/quality control issue.

I think informing the place that you bought them and the manufacturer of the failures along with the lot number might be a good idea.
