Split my first cases today. From a quick googling around some people note this kind of case separation is not as common as a vertical split. Especially not in a straight walled case or factory load.
I fired the round, ejected the primer half and then failed to feed the follow up round. Thankfully
How rare is this out of a factory load? It happened a second time later, but the cut wasn't perfectly clean only 90% of the way.
I may have seen this once before dumping ammo out of my revolver.
Thoughts?
