I have been on the hunt for a sporter stock for a newly acquired mk 1 enfield (early model). I have searched extensively on line, and the one or two vendors I would go with don’t ship outside the lower 48. Does anyone know of a Canadian vendor that has access to a sporter version of stocks? Something along the lines of a Churchill although I would prefer a more English stocker design. Let me know what you know. Thanks in advance.

Try Western Gun Parts . They sometimes have a stock set from Parker Hale sporters for sale . I bought one from Erv last year for $80 for my No 1. It fits well and the rifle shoots better than I expected .

If you are going to order a stock, or anything else for the rifle, make sure to be asking for the right rifle. Is it a No.4 Mk1 or a No.1 MkIII? Might save some diappointment.

I don't think his remark is condescending. The Enfield general means a P14 of an M17 based on the Enfield action. The Lee Enfield is a different animal. It is mostly commonly available ass a No 4 mk ! or mark ! number 3 or could be one one of several others. I hope that I haven't earned you ire also.

Thanks for the sage advise, however, before you get offering guidance, wade in and educate yourself just a bit. I’ve attached a link for you to get your feet wet and then get lost. I’m looking for people that might put me on to a replacement stock, not condescending remarks from Carlyle, Lampman, Beifait, Creelman or whatever Sh@t hole you crawled out of.
