I would like to welcome sporting clay shooters from across Canada to come and participate in sporting clay tournaments at the Oshawa Skeet & Gun Club this coming year. We have four major shoots lined up, three one day shoots and our largest three day competition the Canadian Open. Our one day competitions all include lunch and $10.00 pay back to class from your entry fee.
Our signature competition "The Canadian Open Sporting Clay Championship" is the longest running sporting clay competition in Canada. We are into our 21st year of hosting this shoot. It has continued to grow every year and last year we topped it off with 169 shooters attending for across Canada and the U.S.A. Last year we introduced a vendors tent for the first time with great success. We had some major vendors from the shooting industry, Beretta Canada, The Gun Dealer, The Hearing Centre, Zoli Canada, Blaser Canada, Pilla Glasses and more. We also had other major sponsors donate funds and prizes, Tripple Waste Management,Cara Panels, Peel Plumbing, Astral Paving, City Homes, Lawry Shooting Sports, Promatic Clay Machines, Winchester Ammunition, Alflarety Outdoors, Markville Collision and many more.
At the Canadians we also include lunch and dinner on Saturday along with give aways to all competitors that register for the main event. We also have a guarantee payout of $7500.00 from H.O.A to "E" class and all of our shoots are N.S.C.A registered shoots.
