i wouldnt buy anything new unless I try them out on the club.
if you know the exact vent hight, trigger pull, montecarlo, semi, straightback, then order them online.
Have seen many people spend $5-6000 online bring it out to club and shoot worse then their $1000 dollar semi auto. I did purchase beretta sv10 prev sporting. it is light, thinner stock then most other rem, browning, and it does move quick for sporting and skeet shoot.
Caeser guerini's tend to have full montecarlo stock with like 1" vent ribs for trap.. have shot those and works fine but will still stick with my $1000 gun for trap since it fits me good.
wouldnt know what your experiences with sporting/ trap shooting but whatever fits you comfortable is million dollar gun for me.
Before i buy anything, usually goto trap club and ask all the members if i can slap it on my shoulder to see if it fits..
first i close my eyes, close action on O/U, slap on my shoulder, put my cheek on stock and open the eyes. if the barrel and sights line perfect without wiggle, then thats the keeper for me.
if you find something fits, ask the member if you can try it out.. most people will say yes if you are looking for something to purchase.
"Gundealer" in New Brunswick do have large collection of O/U shotguns use or new.
