Sporting Clays Montebello

From their website:

Sporting Clays, Fairmont Kenauk at Le Chateau Montebello

For a unique experience, try clay shooting at Kenauk. This exciting new activity offers challenges for everyone. The course consists of 9 stations of varying difficulty levels that simulate hunting for small game birds and animals. Our sporting clay package includes all required materials such as shotguns, ammunition, eye and ear protection, vests and trap guides.

Sporting Clays
Available spring, summer and fall at Fairmont Kenauk
Minimum 2 persons, reservations required.

Rates

$89 per person
Includes all material: shot gun, ammunition, eye and ear protection, vest and trap guide.

Find another shooter, make a reservation and try it! Nine stations is not many, but I'll bet they spent a ton of money on the course. I would be very interested to read a "range report" from this place.

I shot there a couple times before. The course is not realy open to the public. It is for the hotel customers mainly. It is a 50 bird layout with mainly manual traps. They rent all shooting equipment guns, vest etc. They say they have a 5-stand but it is not realy a 5-stand. It has 1 ocsilating trap that is located under the shooters.

Just make sure you reserve or call at least one day ahead of time. This place (the shooting ground) is not staffed permanently as there is not many people shooting there. There is no walk up, shooting is only on request basis. The shooting ground is about 15 miles north east of the main Hotel. The hotel has a 25 miles by 25 miles reserve call Kenauk. Lots of good hunting and fishing on that property including a little corner for sporting clays. Seing that your post is over a month old you probably been there allready.
