Sporting Newb.... 20ga Shells?

So I’ve entered the 20ga O/U game, we bought a Challenger Workhorse and a whack of clays to boot! Now that I’ve recovered from the sticker shock it’s time for a flat or two. The Browning takes 3” and we are on our ravine not a club or stay at 2 3/4”??

What does everyone recommend, I have 2 skeet chokes and imp cyl’s.... The wife is a driving factor behind this stack barrel as she is determined to out score me

Purchase 7/8 ounce target loads by the flat. There is no logical reason to use 3" for clays.

Thanks for the reaffirmation! By the skid I can get Rio or Fed in 7.5 or 8 for $79. Either have an advantage over the other?

I prefer Federal if for no other reason than some people have had issues with the Rio primers.

Remington nitros give good results, but the wallet drains pretty quick with those too.
Good choice in guns too.

$79 is not THAT good of a price. If you wait for a sale, or shop around you can find under $70 per 250 rounds.
