This is suitable for the rising targets in American Trap. Due to the nature of its single barrel, the gun would only be suitable for American Trap singles. Most shooting clubs only offer the discipline of American Trap, and this is the most common discipline new shooters to get into. The cost of starting with American Trap is a lot more affordable. Both the Trap and Sporting guns have an aluminum alloy receiver with a steel breech face. The steel breech face will ensure longevity while keeping the weight down for younger or smaller shooters who may not be comfortable with the extra weight of a steel receiver shotgun.
