must be weather resistant
usable to 1,000 yards
user freindly anbd clear enough at the highest power to see target markers at 1,000 yards.

I bought a Bauch and Lomb 15-60 x 60 off of ebay for $145 plus $15 shipping. I have it on aregular camera tripod I borrowed from a buddy it works great.:D

SignGuy, Check out the Celestron spotting scopes at Radioworld in Toronto. They have a website. Received a scope from them last week - looks great and at a very good price.
Your requirements and specs are the same as mine and the Celestron Ultima 65 which is 18x-55x with a 65 mm objective should do the job. Comes with a straight or angled eyepiece. You need to provide a tripod or stand.
