Spotting scope and shooting tripod head rec

I am looking at using a tripod for glassing with a spotting and using it as a rifle rest as well. I currently have a bogpod setup but it's not too stable. Any thoughts on a manfrotto 190 series tripod? There are so many legs and heads to choose from I am getting lost.
 
Look at tripods with 40mm legs and a bowl top...about the best bang for the buck is on amazon 'INNOREL RT90C' and N52 ball head, also look at the 'Desmond DLOW' ball head....

A step up would be the Leofoto 404c, or if you want to spend some $$$ 'ReallyRightStuff' is what to google!
