SPOTTING scope facts

Seeing as how I haven't posted in a while, and optics are a bit of a touchy subject, I will say what I always say. You get what you pay for. Especially in optics. I will also add, as you get into the higher end of things, the return for dollars spent start to dwindle. Think Lambo vs Ferrari. They both go fast, and at the end of the day, do the same stuff, but one costs more than the other. The same can be said for the cheap stuff. Think old Yugo's and old Hyundai's. They both do the same thing, they both cost about the same, and they're both so crappy you wouldn't want to drive one. The third catagory is less exspensive. Not cheap, but not exspensive, and does most of what you want it to do. You have to sacrifice some stuff, but you don't have to buy crap. Buy the most you can afford, and when you think you have enough, save a little more. Look at used stuff, and deals can be had. Buy once, and be happy with your purchase.
