Any suggestions on what magnification I'd need to see bullet holes on targets at 300m? Would a Vortex 15-45 x 65 do the trick? Thanks for the input.

Optical clarity is much more important than magnification. the Vortex Viper HD in 15-45X65 will see most bullet holes at 300 yards, but it will depend on the caliber you are shooting and the colour of the target. Small caliber in black targets are hard to see no matter what scope you use. Best of luck.

Yes the glass is from Japan, and they are still feeling the effects from the earth quake and tsunami from earlier this year. But I promise you the wait will be worth it!
I have a Razor HD spotter, shoot me a pm and you can take a gander through it sometime at the local range if you like. I might be in Napanee tomorrow afternoon if I get some reloading done and the weather doesnt scare me away!
