Spotting scope? Something mid priced?

Can anybody recommend a reasonable spotting scope for less than $500? Would be used at ranges up to 300m. Figure I need 60x or do I need abit more? Whats good and where to buy. Thanks

You could put together a Nikon 65 spotting scope along with our 16-48x eyepiece for around $480. Thats our MSRP of course, dealer may sell for less. If you're looking for someone to inquire about it with would be P&D Enterprises out of Edmonton.

To get the 60x zoom you'd have to goto our 82 scope which would tack on about another $200
