Anyone coming to the SPRA Match, at Nakomis Sask. on 2-4 Sept. 2006??
SPRA matches are held from May to September at the SPRA North Star range 6 miles east of Nokomis at ranges of 300 to 1000 yards. The range now has 1100 and 1200 yard firing points.

Team Shoot 600 & 900 2+10 All members to shoot
We may try a shoot from 1000,1100 & 1200 yrds as well, this will be a trial shoot (if we can fit it in) for F-Class shooters (TR can join in as well if they want.
We have a couple fellas who are interested in sponsoring this match if we have enough shooters that are interested. The range is certified for calibers up to and including at least .338
Fullbore Rifle Shooting
Fullbore refers to 308 Win and 223 Rem target rifle shooting at ranges of 300 to 1000 yards.
Rifles used are bolt action, single shot, heavy barreled rifles that can weigh up to 6.5 kgs.
Iron sights are used and the trigger weight has to be a minimum of 1.5 kgs.
Shooters can use padded jackets, slings, gloves, and a ground mat, all firing is done in the prone position.
Hand Loaded ammunition is used.
Matches consist of 7, 10 or 15 scoring rounds preceded by two sighting rounds.
Target markers are used to indicate the location and value of the shots on the targets.
In "F" Class any safe rifle and any sight along with bipod support can be used.
