Anyone use this stuff for their stock? Canadian Tire has it for 9.99 a can. It would be much more durable yes? I wouldn't coat the whole thing as chances are it is to thick, but would do most of it.

It is A1, after you apply the truck bed liner paint you can also paint a nice cammo job over top the truck bed liner paint with some krylon spray paint. This will have the effect of a nice textured stock other than black which is more easily gripped. Yes, you can paint all of the stock no problem but not a good idea to paint the stock channel if you have not bedded it yet.

This is something I've been contemplating too. How tough is the spray on bedliner? What is the texture like and how think does it go on?

From the stuff I've used (CT brand), it'd be easier to scratch the untreated fiberglass than it is to scratch the bed liner stuff. It's really tough!

It goes on kinda thick, but that's the point!

YEP, what the others said.

However, just a tip ... the stuff goes on pretty thick so you might want to mask off the bedding surfaces, especially where the trigger group goes in.
