I am going to put in a LEH for a spring grizzly fairly close to me. I have never hunted something that is meaner than me. I kid you not. The rifle is a marlin CB 45/70 and I can soup up the 500 to 600 grain bullets till they just keep going and going and going. I could take the 338 LM but that wouldn't be as sporting. I will ask a few friends to enter as well and make it a group hunt. Draw straws every morning as to who shoots first. Kind of exciting to actually make the decision to go for it. Really bite if I didn't get it. Pretty good odds. Now time to pm my friends and see if they want in.

There is no need, at all, to go heavier than 500 gr bullets.
