Spring guns prohib in NS for hunting , or anything for that matter..

I live in the province and I know the regs are quite messed up. Sure they gave us the ability to hunt with a crossbow but you need to have a bow hunting course and also the NS hunters safety course. This is what's required to hunt with a crossbow. To note you can only hunt with a crossbow at the start of regular deer season. This is when rifle hunters are in the woods. It it should be when the archery season starts. If the regulate the use of air rifles over 500 FPS they sure will screw it up in the regulations just like the crossbows. My two cents worth anyway.

I must admit the rules , I just shake my head, can't hunt small game with an airgun, or hunt Sunday's, or use a single bullet on grouse, ie. 22 or airgun.
Still I see stuff like the guns/ammo on coyote , which is the rest of the year, any cal , rifle, shotgun, etc...? makes no sense, enough that folks in this province put out tons of apples, cameras, etc...and come back to kill the animal when pics are on the camera, now thats ethical hunting for ya..wow
Take a look at some of the new airguns, pcp, or spring, their super accurate, and much safer for other hunters, and gives a great start to new to the sport of hunting.
Anyway , I'm not sure if I want to stay in the area anyway, All these coyote hunters, maybe killing moose where we want them back , or do we ? car crashing into a big moose make it easy for folks to ignore some stuff.
If you think I feel upset about the current laws, you would be right...
