Spring rattle in AR15 stock

The spring rattle is normal.

Some people like to grease up their proctology fingers and slab lube all over tubes and springs

Lube or no lube, Function is key. Does it work and does it work well?
If the answer is yes, don't fuk with it.

If you can hear your buffer spring, you're not making enough noise with your gun.

CLP will quiet it down. Put "too much" CLP in the buffer tube.

It will work great, and it will make you a believer.
