Well, the snow's almost gone here, and it might be
a bit late.... but.... Anyone have some good books
to recommend? I'm looking for wind, f-class, load
development, and out to 1000. What's your favorite?

"The Wind Book" by MilCun Marksmanship is a good read for understanding wind and strategies to shoot in it. They (Keith & Linda) also have a handbook for 1000 yd shooting specific to the provinces and how to get started in LR but I have not read that one, yet.

"Precision Shooting at 1,000 Yards" By: 13 of the Columnist-Writers of Precision Shooting Magazine" and "THE BENCHREST PRIMER" and "The Highpower Shooting Primer" and "The Precision Shooting Reloading Guide" are also all good reads.

That will keep you busy for a month or two! "The Ultimate in Rifle Accuracy" by Glenn Newick is good too.

DO ya think reading is really going to help you???

Would you read just one book that will improve your scores, no matter if you are a shooter, bowler, golfer or any other type of competitor?
I recommend "With Winning in Mind" by Lanny Bassham. Type in the www. before his name (all one word) and add .com

Nothing on the technical side of shooting, more about what it takes mentally to become a Champion.

154 Lapua on my side!
