This is a project that started late last year after seeing the Gibbs 1903a4 clones. I decided to do my own 1903a4 clone build. But after finding an original 1903a4 receiver and bolt it turned into more of a restoration project. All the parts are original with exception of the reproduction stock. I believe the scope mount and rings are post war civilian and mounted is Lyman Alaskan scope (date of manufacture unknown). I have to thank all the people on CGN who helped me source parts and most importantly Nick from Vulcan Gun Refinishing. Nick rebuilt the rifle, Parkarized and Back Oxide all the parts. The pictures speak for themselves. I had it out at the range yesterday and it shoots as good as it looks.
