I've got many .22's but my fav is my dad's the one I leaned to shoot. It developed a habit of FTE. I ordered extractors etc from numerich but never had the time. This week I got a chance. When I looked at the bolt way back I thought it only had an extractor on the back side of the bolt. Couldn't find those parts, ordered what I thought was needed. Well on disassembly I realized one extractor was missing! No wonder it would FTE. My first attempt at repair of a firearm. Well lady luck , god whoever was on my side. I was struggling with the tiny spring and plunger and slipped. Oh no the plunger shot across the room. (My basement looks like an episode of hoarders that doesn't quite make TV) The one piece I don't have extra. Well I found it!! Put a big cardboard box in place to catch parts in case it happened again. Well eventually I got it , utube told me it would be difficult and today out to the range with my sons. Fingers crossed.
