I am just wondering if any Springfield 1911 Loaded Model owners out there have purchased night sights for their gun?

If so, what kind and model did you get? I have emailed about 4 companies on this to find out which ones will fit ($150 mistake or PITA return) but no response yet.

Lots out there for the XD but that does not help.....found meprolights for the Operator but my Loaded model has Target rears and they do not look the same.

first off, two words for your pistol "bad ass". your biggest problem in finding night sights is that your slide has a bo-mar style cut for the ajustables. most tritium sights (trijicon, meprolight) are designed to fit a different style of slide cut. I have seen Bo Mar tritium adjustable rear sights. They may be your best bet.

Yeah Springfield makes a nice chunk of steel. It's big, heavy, shiny, and shoots beautifully. Been wanting one for a long time.
