A couple of YouTube 22LR guys did reviews & tested this new-ish rifle. The Springfield “accuracy guarantee “ pretty much says it all if you know what I mean.
The YT testors mostly caved and reported that it was decent but…..and it’s a big but……their actual targets said way different. Forget .500 MOA at 50 yards (1/2” at 50 is the industry standard). The SpringField performed poorly but the YT guys gave it a pass.
Even the rifle reviewers in the American Rifle Man magazine liked it. I got fooled by the AR review of the Begara BMR rifle (C$800.00)…..the only good thing about the BMR is the magazine system. The SpringField rifle cheaped out & used the Ruger 10/22 mag which is unfriendly. My BMR could only produce a .500 moa at 50 yards 4% of the time…..
