i was wondering if any one has info about this sight.Springfield Armory 4-14x 56mm gen 3 goverment. it seems alright to me and the price inst bad. but ive seen pics where it appears the site is touching the barrel...this can never be a good thing. ive also seen pics where it doesnt do this. does that just depend on the rifle or mounts thats used?

Runaway from that scope fast you can it has been plagued with problems from the out set of manufacture poor Quality Control .Springfield had so many warranty issues with there scope that they discontinued them. If you want to take the chance then go ahead and purchase it as for the scope heights they are generally regulated by the scope ring height
