Any first hand opinions on how the Springfield Armory Xd & XDm 9mm handle lead bullets? Thanks for any info.

Conventional rifling
H&K, Glock and some others employ polygonal rifling for a number of reasons, the premier being durability with jacketed bullets.
I believe that the XD and M versions have conventional lands and grooves rifling. So, they would be okay with lead bullets.

Sounds logical. I've seen end on shots of the rifiling in magazine ads and it seems to be conventional. I'm leaning towards an XDm 9mm but I'd want use lead bullets in it. Thanks for the reply.
