Springfield Armory scout mount

Does anyone know if there is a Canadian dealer that carries the Springfield Armory scout mount like is found on their scout squad rifle?

No, as Machman says, this is a difficult part to find, but not completely unavailable in the used marketplace. I do not think they are sold new in Canada. Alternatives are coming. For example, my SHG rail is coming this month. I am looking forward to putting it out there.

That's neat...back to topic tho I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of the Springfield scout mounts. Theoretically possible for anyone already importing other Springfield products? North sylva maybe? I don't think Big Rock or Redl import Springfield. Anyone else possible to bug about this?

BTW, the Springfield Scout Mount does fit on the shorty and works with no interference.

My SA scout mount wouldn't fit on my factory shorty. The barrel had a heavier profile than my cut-down shorty.

Very strange...mine fits on my factory shorty, and there is no interference. Mine came from Canada Ammo in 2011.

I was quite surprised that it wouldn't fit. It was last spring that I bought the factory shorty, IIRC.
