Springfield Armory Socom 16 and Scout barrel profiles

Hey guys,

I e-mailed SA asking them what size barrel is used in the Socom 16 and Scout rifles, Standard or Medium.

Maybe someone here who owns one or knows them well can answer me first.

I'm trying to find out whether the SA Scout/Squad scope mount can be used on medium contour barrels and or standard contour barrels.

I found out that the SA Scout/Squad mount only fits Standard profile barrels.
