Looking at budget 9mm 1911's right now and have narrowed to the Colt Competition, Springfield Armory Range Officer Operator, and Sig Traditional Stainless Elite.
All 1911's in this price range seem to have the occasional lemon. Has anyone used SA's warranty in Canada? Is it still lifetime coverage and quick service like in the US?
Some common reports are SA RO's with chambers too tight jamming live rounds, or glued ejectors breaking. The Colt's sometimes have brass to face problems. I'd be buying the Colt from Irunguns so warranty might be more troublesome.
