I bought 5 cases of south african and 3 cases of hirtenberger surplus in november off an old guy I recently met at the legion on my town. When I told him the last case I saw for sale went for 800 at the chilliwack gunshow, he said, "you young fellas are nuts, it's only ammo" . He wanted 500.00 for all of it, so I gave him 1000.00 I still totally feel bad knowing what this stuff is worth. None for sale, don't even try LOL

Nice, I remember when the SA 7.62 came in the last time it was going for about 400-500/case - you lucked out big time at $125/case. The Hirtenburgen is boxer primed , isn't it? - that alone makes just those three cases worth between 2 and 3K.
