Springfield M6...barrel removal?

I ordered a spare from Springfield. looks like they still sell them http://www.springfield-armory.com/s...id=318&zenid=b4dcfb5012659dede4076d07468febb3

They should be petty easy to make from a hexhead bolt. I saw a discussion on a website once where a guy made one and drilled it at the head end then inserted a wire in the hole and tied the other end to the trigger guard. Another solution might be to drill the other end and use a small split ring to keep the hinge pin from backing out.

Springfield had no problems with shipping it up?
 
sorry to hijack the thread but has anyone had to adjust the rear sight on the M6. My gun is shooting great groups but about 2 inches to the right at 25yards. other than that the groups are great. Is it just a matter of tapping it over with a brass punch??
