Springfield mil spec 1911-a1?

I was just browsing around and came across a springfield Milspec 1911-A1 GI version. It appears to be different than the GI one that used to be offered by springfield and was curious to if anyone in Canada offers it for sale?

It doesn't have the US stamped on the grip and is also listed as "WWII mil spec service model"

It's also not the mil-spec they currently offer on their website.

It looks like an older model, possibly limited production numbers. What ever the case is Springfield is not making it or the regular GI anymore, just the Mil-Spec.

Nice looking gun though, would be neat to find one.
