I have a chance to get a mint trp today. Bull barrel, adjustable sights etc.

do I jump on it? comes with sure fire light, custom trigger, leg holster, 10 mags 3 sets of grips
 
If I were you (ie spending your money lol), I would for sure. Springers are not easy to find in Canada and the TRP is an outstanding 1911 in my opinion. If I had money to spend right now, I'd ask you where and try to buy it before you lol
 
Springer 1911's are more scarce right now than honest politicians - the TRP is at the higher end of the Springer line, making it even more rare. Jump on it - there is a good chance you won't see another.

If you order a new one now, you'll have to wait about a year before the delivery.
I made the deposit in August for a TRP and tried to forget about it until I get a phone call. Can't take it out my mind :)

Do you mind sharing the price tag with us?

Import it yourself via Irunguns. It will be cheaper and 50x faster.

I'll look it up... Dante in montreal charged me $300 over the US retail price shown on springfield's website.

How much does it usually cost to import a $2000 piece from the states?
 
Just to give you an idea. A Springfield 1911A1 TRP in black cerakote is $2000 here in Canada if you can find one. The CRAFM had one not too long ago and it sold within 1 week. You can find a TRP on gunbroker for $1450 + $200 for the import fee + $25 of shipping and another $25 to your door. It will still cost less at the end but the most important thing, you won't need to wait 1 year to get it.
